All three models share the same acoustical concepts and quality. It is up to you, the designer, whatever size you choose for your next project the result will be stunning.

INTEGRATED HORN FOR

MAXIMUM COVERAGE

The high frequencies are perfectly controlled by the specifically designed embedded aluminum horn and phase plug. This component guarantees optimal directivity and conical high frequency dispersion. Depending on the model the HX240 range can perfectly cover angles between 100° (8” and 12” sizes) and 110° (10” size).

FaitalPRO HX240 SERIES - ALL IN ONE SOLUTION FOR MAXIMUM VERSATILITY

A point-source represented by a “coaxial” loudspeaker is designed to cover both high and low frequencies. Two distinct transducers must work together in harmony to provide a perfectly balanced listening experience. Tailored components allow the two loudspeakers to act as one, creating both a solid mechanical product and the perfect structure to house the dedicated parts responsible for the best acoustical reproduction.

FULL NEODYMIUM

MAGNET ASSEMBLY

The HX240 series shares the same magnet assembly concept. The decision to use FEM optimized neodymium magnet assemblies for both the woofer section and the compression driver provides the designer with an excellent opportunity to make lightweight products which will fit when the room available is limited. In addition each unit incorporates a dedicated aluminum demodulation ring reducing significantly the harmonic and intermodulation distortion levels.

Technical Overview

The HX240 series offers a complete range of coaxial loudspeakers spanning from 8 to 12 inches in diameter. They all share design concepts including a double neodymium magnet assembly, independent voice coils for the woofer and compression driver parts and an embedded high frequency horn... everything packaged in an aluminium custom basket. All add to make this high performing, scalable series reliable and practical.
